Brain And Neurosurgery Observership/Fellowship Program

Purpose and Content of the Program:

- Brain and Neurosurgery  Observership/Fellowship Program is suitable for all doctors interested in this field. The aim of this program is to advance participants' ability to understand, diagnose, treat and prevent injuries and diseases of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves throughout the body.

- The program includes inpatient and outpatient rotations as well as practical studies and theoretical training.

- Fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with neurosurgeons in sub-specialty clinics and multidisciplinary university hospitals.

- Brain and neurosurgery training content includes;

• Theorotical lessons for anatomy, phsiology, diseases and surgical procedures of neurosurgery
• Cerebrovascular system pathologies
• The spine and spinal cord pathologies        
• Traumas        
• Tumors
• Pain management
• Pediatric  neurosurgery

 Note: The practical content of the program is only valid for fellowship applicants. Observership participants do not take an active role in the patient treatment process
