Chest Diseases Observership/Fellowship Program

Purpose and Content of the Program:

- Chest Diseases Observership/Fellowship Program is suitable for all doctors interested in this field. The aim of this program is to advance participants' ability to diagnose, treat and prevent relevant diseases.

- The program includes inpatient and outpatient rotations as well as practical studies and theoretical training.

- Fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with pulmonologists in sub-specialty clinics and multidisciplinary university hospitals.

- Chest diseases training content includes;

• Management of acute and chronic respiratory problems
• Performing and interpreting pulmonary function tests
• Interpretation of chest X-ray and CT scan
• Observing flexible bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound applications
• Observing non-invasive ventilation (BIPAP, HHFNC), home ventilation utilizations
• Sleep disorders
