Dermatology Observership/Fellowship Program

Purpose and Content of the Program:

- Dermatology Observership/Fellowship Program is suitable for all doctors interested in this field. The aim of this program is to advance participants' ability to understand, diagnose, treat and prevent skin diseases.

- The program includes inpatient and outpatient rotations as well as practical studies and theoretical training.

- Fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with dermatologists in sub-specialty clinics and multidisciplinary university hospitals.

• The skin exam
• Basic science of the skin
• Morphology
• Dermatologic therapies
• Benign skin lesions; molluscum contagiosum, warts, acne, rosacea
• Introduction to dermoscopy
• Psoriasis
• Sexual and gender diverse (sgd) dermatology
• Atopic dermatitis
• Contact dermatitis
• Chronic itch
• Adult cutaneous fungal infections; dermatophytes, yeasts.
• Pediatric cutaneous fungal İnfections
• Red scaly rash
• Actinic keratosis & squamous cell carcinoma
• Basal cell carcinoma
• Evaluation of pigmented lesions
• Melanoma
• Bacterial skin infections
• Stasis dermatitis and leg ulcers
• Drug reactions
• Petechiae, purpura and vasculitis
• Urticaria
• ​​Blisters
• Viral exanthems
• Infestations and bites
