Renal Transplantation Observership/Fellowship Program

Purpose and Content of the Program:

- Renal Transplantation Observership/Fellowship Program is suitable for all doctors interested in this field. The aim of this program is to provide participants a comprehensive experience in the pre and post-operative care of the transplant patients.

- The program includes inpatient and outpatient rotations as well as practical studies and theoretical training.

- Fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with physicians in sub-specialty clinics and multidisciplinary university hospitals.

-Renal transplantation training content includes;

• Clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Participants will be able to manage kidney transplant recipients as the primary caregiver in both inpatient and outpatient settings and perform pre-transplant donor and recipient assessments.
• Fellows will also participate in the QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) meetings and will have the opportunity to take a Transplant Administration course to learn about the qualitative, regulatory and financial aspects of kidney transplantation.
