Rheumatology Observership/Fellowship Program

Purpose and Content of the Program:

- Rheumatology Observership/Fellowship Program is suitable for all doctors interested in this field. The aim of this program is to advance participants' abilities to understand, diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases of musculoskeletal system.

- The program includes inpatient and outpatient rotations as well as practical studies and theoretical training.

- Fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with rheumatologists in sub-specialty clinics and multidisciplinary university hospitals.

- Rheumatology training content includes;

• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Seronegative spondyloarthritis (psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, enteropathic arthritis, Reiter syndrome)
• Behcet's disease
• Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF)
• Connective tissue diseases (Systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, mixed connective tissue disease, sjogren's syndrome, dermatomyositis, polymyositis)
• Antiphospholipid syndrome
• Vasculitis
• Acute joint rheumatism
• Crystal arthritis (intestine, pseudogout)
• Amyloidosis
• Metabolic and degenerative diseases (osteoarthrosis, osteoporosis, osteomalesis, paget's disease)
• Rheumatic findings of other systemic diseases
