Spine Surgery Observership/Fellowship Program

Purpose and Content of the Program:

- Spine Surgery Observership/Fellowship Program is suitable for all doctors interested in this field. The aim of this program is to provide participants with a comprehensive education in adult and adolescent spine problems.

- The program includes inpatient and outpatient rotations as well as practical studies and theoretical training.

- Fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with physicians in sub-specialty clinics and multidisciplinary university hospitals.

- Spine Surgery training content includes;

• Spinal trauma (including spinal cord injuries: Discectomy, Disc Replacement, Spinal fusion, Laminectomy, Interlaminar implant, Foraminotomy, Kyphoplasty, Osteotomy)
• Spinal deformities
• Spinal infections
• Inflammatory conditions affecting the spine
• Spinal tumors
• Disc surgery
• Congenital spinal anomalies

Note: The practical content of the program is only valid for fellowship applicants. Observership participants do not take an active role in the patient treatment process.
