Purpose and Content of the Program:

- Laparoscopic Surgery Training Program is suitable for all healthcare professionals interested in this field. The aim of the program is to provide participants with the opportunity to observe a range of high-quality laparoscopic equipment and to teach the techniques necessary for different surgical procedures.

• Setting up a stack, correctly connecting a light source and gaining a good quality image - Identify means of access and outline patient positioning.
• Discussing a range of complications and how to deal with them.
• Demonstrating a range of suturing and knot tying techniques.
• Discussing the use of laparoscopy in diagnosis.
• Evaluating the use of various energy sources.
• Demonstrating wide-ranging knowledge in laparoscopic surgery and operative procedures including ulcers, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy.
